Army’s 81 Division has denied that soldiers opened fire on #ENDSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Plaza last week Tuesday.

Acting Director Public Relations of the Division, Maj. Olaniyi Osoba, said soldiers were involved in restoration of order in the state on the invitation of the state government.

He described as fake, to a viral video on social media in which it was alleged that civilian protesters were massacred by soldiers at Lekki Toll Plaza, stressing that it was aimed at causing anarchy in the country.
