Chelsea’s Lukaku Says Luck Has Smiled On Him To Be Chelsea Player



Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku has has expressed happiness, saying that he was lucky to have joined the Blues for the third time.

Thw striker who moved to Stamford Bridge as a 17-year-old from Belgian side Anderlecht in 2011 is back to Chelsea on a five-year deal as he becomes the highest-paid player at the club, earning £200,000 per week.

After leaving Chelsea in 2014, Lukaku emerged as one of the most prolific strikers in Europe after he scored 87 goals in 166 games for Everton between 2014 and 2017, and 42 goals in 96 appearances during his two years at Manchester United after which he signed for Inter in 2019.

The 28-year-old player scored 24 goals in Serie A last season, assisting Inter to their first Scudetto in 11 years putting an end to Juventus’ nine-year reign as Italian champions.
