Cleric emphasises importance of righteous living

A Christian is one who keeps God’s commandments and manifests its truth in his behavior as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

The Bishop of Methodist Diocese Owo, Rt. Rev’d Abayomi Adegbite in a sermon at the Government House Chapel said there is no destiny where discipline and uprightness are lacking.

Orange FM’s Otobot JIm reports that Bishop Adegbite who preached on the theme “Repentance for the better” harped on the need to be righteous in one’s dealings

The Cleric cautioned believers to safeguard their destiny by forsaking earthly temptations which could separate them from the love and blessings of God.

Some worshippers who spoke with orange FM said the message had opened their hearts to understand that lack of focus on the things of God destroys destinies.

There was a thanksgiving session while prayers of unity and progress were offered for the people and the state.
