The International Culture and Events Centre in Akure played host to friends, well wishers, family, traditional rulers and heads of security agencies when the Commander of Amotekun in Ondo state High Chief Adetunji Adeleye gave the hand of his daughter in marriage.
At the event, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu charged the couple, Oladayo and Oluwaseun to put God first in all things.
Orange FM’s Olumide Adeluwoye reports that Governor Akeredolu who was the Chairman at the reception said love in matrimony can only remain evergreen if the couple choose to keep away third parties from the affairs of their home.
He identified the fear of God as the cornerpiece of a peaceful home and a long lasting relationship.
Arakunrin Akeredolu who prayed for the success of the union also advised Oladayo and Oluwaseun to deliberately bring up their children in the way of the Lord.
He advised parents of the couple to allow their children learn the joy and enduring experience of building a productive family.
Dignitaries at the reception include the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa; Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyelogun, Acting Chairman of APC, Ade Adetimehin, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, traditional Rulers including the Chairman of Ondo State Council of Obas and Olugbo of Ugbo, Oba Fredrick Akinruntan, the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye; the Deji of Akure, Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo and the Olori of Ooni of Ife, Queen Silekunola Ogunwusi.
Commissioner of police, Mr. Bolaji Salami led heads of Security Agencies in Ondo State and Commanders of Amotekun from Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Ogun states to the event.
