Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has described the inferno at Oke Eda complex in Akure which housed four government organizations as unfortunate, with a promise look into the causes
Akeredolu who spoke when he visited the scene of the incident along with his Chief of Staff, Olugbenga Ale and the Head of Service, Mr Dare Aragbaye said an investigation has commenced and he will wait for it before drawing conclusions as to what led to the inferno.
The governor told the managements of OSRC, SUBEB and other offices affected to estimate the damage and present to government.
He said what is left of the entire facility will be dismantled and all the offices will be moved to other places for government to make better use of the place.
Offices affected are Ondo state media group’s marketing office, the state universal basic education board annex state scholarship board and the Nigerian French language centre.
