after consultation with the State Security Council revealed that some unpatriotic elements are planning to organize series of for-and-against protests in connection to a recent security development in a sister northern state.

Protests rocked Sokoto city on Saturday over the detention of two persons linked to the gruesome killing of a student Deborah Samuel by her Muslim colleagues over alleged blasphemy.

Deborah who was student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, was lynched and burnt by a mob on Thursday.

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the killing.
