Moyero Boss charges Football Stakeholders on best practices in Sports Development

The Chairman of Moyero FC, Mr Lanre Moyero has charged sports as well as football stakeholders in Ondo State and Nigeria on the need to eschew sharp practices in a bid to encourage rapid sports development.

Mr Moyero, who made this comment this comment at the inaugural 2019 Ondo Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Parley held in Akure yesterday, frowned at the manner in which football clubs in Nigeria fail to follow due process in the procurement of contracts for their players which in turn accounts for unprofessional display by these players and concerned stakeholders, thereby hampering proper growth and development of football in Nigeria.

The FIFA licenced agent and club owner also called for fairness and equity amongst all clubs in Nigeria.

In his response, the Chairman of SWAN in Ondo State, Mr Wahab Bankole thanked the resource person for the robust interaction with Sports Journalists, just as he clamoured for an increased cohesion amongst Sports Journalists in Ondo State in a bid to make the State the cynosure of all eyes in terms of Athletes’ Success at major tournaments.
