N-YOUTH LEAGUE CUP: We are fully ready for maiden edition – Ologunloluwa

Preparations are in top gear for Sunshine Stars Youth Team to participate and subsequently qualify for the Super 4 of the 2024/2025 National Youth League scheduled for September 8 2024.

ODSFA Executive Chairman, Hon Bamidele Ologunloluwa, made this known while fielding questions from journalists in Akure.

Speaking through a member of the board, Dimeji Abimbola, he said:

“Players are already in camp at the Football Agency, undergoing screening to get the best legs ahead of the Youth League, coming up in September.

“We are putting everything in place to ensure a victorious outing both home and away.

“For the past three weeks, we have been recruiting players across the 18 council areas. Raw talents will be discovered and given the platform to showcase their potentials for national recognition.

“By Friday, we should be able to have our best 30 that will represent Ondo State in the National Youth League in September.

“The tournament will be played every Tuesday at ODSFA football pitch, Oda road Akure for teeming fans to come and watch the team”

He added that it is in line with the vision of Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa to revive the Football Agency by promoting grassroots football development across the 18 council areas

Sunshine Stars Youth Team have been pitted in the Southern Conference Youth League comprising fifteen teams.

The Team will play first home tie against Shuffle Select of Lagos.
