NOA begins voter education in Ondo state ahead Council polls

The National Orientation Agency in Ondo State has commenced a sensitization programme on voter education in all the 18 Local Government Areas for peaceful conduct of the forthcoming Local Government election

Addressing stakeholders at the flagoff in Owo in the North Senatorial district, the Deputy Director Overseeing the Directorate, Mrs Wumi Famuyiwa reiterated that the task of ensuring a peaceful election in the state is everybody’s business.

She enjoined the people to eschew any form of violence

Mrs Famuyiwa charged them to ensure that all COVID ’19 protocols put in place by the Government are strictly adhered to at all times.

As part of the voter education exercise, participants were made to understand the proper way of casting their votes to avoid the incidents of voided votes which was high in previous elections
