Olumilua- sympathisers say his exit has created a huge vaccum

The death of the former governor of old ondo state, Evangelist Bamidele Ishola Olumilua has been described as a great vacuum which would be very hard to fill

That was the submission of politicians and some associates of  the late Politician While speaking exclusively with Orange FM  at the residence of the former governor in Ikere-Ekiti

Oluseye Akinwalere reports that the Oke-Osun home of the late politician turned a mini -tourist site as family members, politicians and other categories of sympathizers stormed the country home of the politician to pay their last respects.

The death of the former governor of old ondo state was announced early yesterday as the social media was awash with various captions announcing the death of the late politician

The late olumilua served as governor of ondo state from January 1992 to November 1993

Early callers at the residence of the late governor included the deputy governor of Ekiti state Chief Bisi Eleyemi, Speaker of the Ekiti House of Assembly, Funminiyi Afuye and APC chairman in the state Paul Alabi

The atmosphere at the house of the deceased was that of joy as the late Evangelist  had instructed before his passing that his demise should be celebrated without mourning .

Women groups staged a light cultural display in front of his house to celebrate his demise

A son of the deceased, Aare Muyiwa Olumilua who is the Commissioner for information in Ekiti State said his late father would forever be missed for his great sense of patriotism, dedication, selfless service and above all honesty

His personal assistant  as well as his driver of many years paid glowing tribute of late Olumilua as a kind man

Also, the speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Funminiyi Afuye and the APC chairman in Ekiti State, Paul Alabi remarked that the political class in Ekiti state  had lost a hero

At the time of filing this report other dignitaries from across the country were being expected.
