The Ondo State Security Network, Amotekun Corps, has paraded 55 suspects apprehended for various criminal activities across the 18 local governments of the state following the commencement of the corps’ ember patrol.
The State Amotekun Commandant, Adetunji Adeleye made the disclosure while parading the suspects at the corps’ headquarters in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The commandant said the corps engaged in patrolling the streets and posting its men in strategic positions.
He also called on the state government to repair the road leading to Ose as the bad state of the road is enabling nefarious acts to be carried out on those plying the road.
Adeleye however called on members of the public to work hand in glove with the agency in making the festive season a crime-free one in the state.
