Ondo BEDC donates Covid-19 Palliatives to Akure Monarch and Shopping Mall



The Benin Electricity Distribution Company in Ondo state has donated items capable of mitigating the spread of Corona virus to the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi.

The Manager, Akure Business Unit of the Company, Mr Andrew Okogie, who presented the hand washing facilities said the gesture was in keeping with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme on the Coronavirus pandemic across its franchise region of Ondo Ekiti,Edo and Delta states.

Orange FM’s Gbenga Oluwajana reports that strategic public places include ShopRite and Mother and child hospital, Akure benefited from the gesture.

The Manager Akure distribution unit of BEDC Mr. Okogie said the hand washing facilities are meant to promote good hygiene of hand washing to help curtail the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Receiving the materials on behalf of the Palace, The press secretary to the Deji, Adeyeye Michael appreciated the company for living up to its corporate responsibility

Similar donations were also made at Shoprite, Mother and Child Hospital, Akure and Akure Shopping Mall.

Donations of similar hand washing gears continues across the state.
