As the year is gradually coming to an end, motorists and passengers have been cautioned to make safety their utmost priority while driving at all times.

Orange FM”s Oweikimi Gunugunu reports that ember months are tagged months with bad omens where there are cases of fire outbreak road accidents and the likes but notes that road crashes are often caused by speed violation, wrongful overtaking, dangerous driving, tyre burst, brake failure among others.
Speaking on the recent accident in the state capital, Mr Oyedele said the command is poised to ensure that traffic rules and regulations are strictly adhered to by road users.
He warned motorists against overloading and over speeding as he maintained that they constitute major reasons for road crashes in the country.
Also, contributing, the deputy chairman road transport employees Association of Nigeria ondo state Branch, Mr. Adewale Bolarinwa said the union has sensitized all motorists to take caution in the right direction.
A hawker of alcoholic drinks, Mrs Sola Adeniyi condemned the attitude of some drivers who drink recklessly.
Other drivers expressed divergent views on ember months just as they encouraged their colleagues to be law abiding.
