Ondo state judicial panel on police brutality and other related matters has reiterated its determination to ensure justice is served on every petition before it.
The chairman of the panel, Justice Adesola Sidiq, during an inspection of the destroyed facilities in ondo town promised speedy dispensation of justice.
Orange fm’s Flora Iweanya reports that 4 petitions were treated while 3 vandalised properties were visited.
Members of the judicial panel visited the properties to determine the level of destruction claimed by petitioners.
The petitioners; Evans okata, olusola Akinmejiwa and Theophilus Ilemobayo’s claims were that of destruction and vandalisation of property by hoodlums during the endsars protest..
Chairman of the panel, Justice Adesola Sidiq after the assessment said it was important for the panel to confirm all claims while carrying out its duties.
Barr. Samson Iluyemi, counsel to Evans Okata and Barr Adeolu Ajayi, counsel to Olusola Akinmejiwa expressed confidence in the ability of the panel to serve justice effectively.
The trio are among the petitioners seeking compensation for the vandalism of their property by hoodlums during the EndSARS protest last year.
The three cases were however adjourned till 21st January for further proceedings
