Ondo state’ Acting Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has charged the state’s athletes at the ongoing 20th National sports festival in Edo state to put in their best in all games for the state.
Ayedatiwa who paid an unscheduled visit to Ondo state camp at the University of Benin said they should exhibit the excellence which the state is known for.
Orange FM’s Gbenga Oluwajana reports that the Acting Governor who urged athletes and officials to abide by the rules of the game expressed optimism that with the preparation put in place the team will win many laurels at the festival.
Earlier, the General Manager, Ondo state Sports Council, Mr Henry Babatunde who noted that the visit is unprecedented assured of their commitment to doing the state proud.
