Ondo state government warns against indiscriminate parking of vehicles in market areas

The Ondo state government has warned against indiscriminate and unauthorized parking of vehicles in the market areas especially in Akure

In a statement by the Information and Orientation Commissioner, Donald Ojogo, government said it is delighted about the substantial compliance in respect of the ban on indiscriminate trading activities on walkways and vehicular paths along market corridors in Akure metropolis.

Ojogo however emphasised that indiscriminate parking of vehicles poses a needless hinderance to the good work of the Task Force saddled with the responsibility of enforcing the ban order.

He advised all motorists who park along unauthorized parking lots to desist from doing so forthwith, adding that stipulated penalties regulating parking policies in Ondo State are still very much potent, and shall be invoked accordingly.
