The Judgement of the elections petition tribunal has continued to generate heated debates and mixed reactions among Nigerians.
Lead amongst them is a call by the Labour Party and the peoples democratic party on the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to tell the truth about the header found on the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the tribunal’s judgement.

To date, it is not unusual to see individuals venting their emotions over the court’s decision.
Since Wednesday’s judgment affirming Tinubu’s election, a viral copy of the judgment has gained interest due to the appearance of “Tinubu Presidential Legal Team” in the header.
The National Publicity Secretary of Labour party Obiora Ifoh, stated that Nigerians are curious about it, owing to the fact that it has generated storm and controversy as the header is not a watermark.
Relatedly, Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Communications to former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has raised concerns over a copy of the Presidential Election Petitions Court (PEPC) judgment which has been widely circulated.
However, Tinubu’s legal team offered explanations over what it described as its “watermark” on the widely circulated copies of the judgment of the PEPC, and berated critics insinuating that the watermark was a result of pre-determined manipulations.
The Coordinator of the TPLT, Mr. Babatunde Ogala (SAN), said there was nothing untoward with the watermark.
He maintained that the copies of the judgement released by the court’s registry did not have his team’s inscription.
A legal practitioner, Oladele Oladejo described the situation as uncalled for, even as he said stated that the watermark issue does not affect the judgment.
Corroborating him, another legal practitioner Tolu Abisagbo called for an end to unnecessary drama, saying that the judgement has been delivered by well learned justices in fairness to evidences gathered.
Also Barrister Yemi Aladetoyinbo advised the opposition to find a more worthy fight than the watermark issue and that it could have be an error from photocopies of the judgement.
They however called for more clarification for the public while also frowning at the social media frenzies.
