Royal fathers in Owo Council Area congratulate Governor Akeredolu on election victory



Royal Fathers in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo state have described Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as a pride to the kingdom with assurance that all sons and daughters of the area will continue to support him as he paddles the affairs of the state for a second term.

The monarchs led by the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye stated this when they paid a visit to the Governor at his owo residence to congratulate him on his outstanding success at the just concluded governorship election.

Government house correspondent, Joseph Ikugbonmire reports that the Owo residence of Governor Akeredolu is now e beehive of activities as prominent individuals visit to congratulate him on his re-election.

The Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye who spoke on behalf of the Royal Fathers noted with satisfaction the unprecedented performance of Governor Akeredolu across the state in all sectors.

He said the landmark achievements of the governor in the delivery of dividends of democracy and good governance are greatly appreciated by a vast majority of the people of the state which was obvious through their votes.

Responding, Governor Akeredolu appreciated the traditional rulers for their support and prayers with assurance of greater commitment to the development of the state.

While stating that the result of the election gave him electoral dominance in two Senatorial Districts with good showing in the third senatorial district , the Governor reassured of his unrelenting commitment to the delivery of good governance.

Other Royal Fathers who joined the Olowo on the visit include Oloba of Uso, Oba Ademola Oyinbade , Elemure of Emure, Oba Simeon Adedubaje, the Asuada of Isuada, Oba Oluwafemi Adeluwoye and the Olupemen of Upenmen, Oba Ebenezer Adewumi Ogunmolasuyi.
