Super Falcons Intensify Preparations For 2022 Women AFCON Fixtures

Nine-time African champions, Super Falcons have intensified preparations for their 2022 Women AFCON qualifying match against the Black Queens of Ghana in Lagos on Sunday.

Nigeria and Ghana clashed in the final match of the maiden edition of the Women Africa Cup of Nations in 1998, in which the Falcons won 2-0.

The return leg is scheduled for Sunday, 24th October in Accra.

Both of them have been drawn to compete for one slot at the next edition to be held in Morocco in 2022 Morocco.

They had earlier taken part in and won all three matches at the Turkish Women’s Cup in Antalya in February.
