Super Revenge As Eagles Beat CAR 2-0 In Image Redeeming Comeback

The Super Eagles came out smoking against the Central African Republic, CAR, by beating them 2-0 to confirm their status in the FIFA World Cup qualifying series.

In the 29th-minute Glasgow Rangers defender Leon Balogun’s goal and a 46th-minute strike from Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen gave the Super Eagles all they needed to redeem their battered image.

The Eagles lost their first encounter 0-1 at home in front of their fans in Lagos before going to Cameroon to take their revenge on CAR on Sunday.

The first half of the match ended with Nigeria dictating the pace by fully controlling the midfield, ending in CAR’s  unpardonable errors.
