The Weeknd’s has once again shown his passion to help people who were injured, people whose loved ones died, and people who were left homeless by the explosion that rocked Beirut.
The singer’s manager, Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, and his wife, Rima Fakih, have been urging people to get relief for the victims of the blast which has the Weeknd chipping supporting with a 300 thousand dollars donation to Global Aid for Lebanon.
The money will be distributed to the World Food Programme, the Lebanese Red Cross and the country’s Children’s Center.
The Weeknd is one of the many celebs who have been extra charitable over the last 6 months.
He has pledged $500k to social justice organisations and also donated $1M for COVID-19 relief and $350K for Tik Tok’s Equal Justice Initiative.
