University Don, Afe Adedayo calls for restructuring of governance in Nigeria

A university Don has identified a holistic approach where good governance would be practicable as the solution to the unrest arising from the EndSARS protests across the nation.

Dr Adedayo who opined that the agitations of the EndSARS protesters was as a result of the accumulated maladministration that cut across every sector of the nation’s economy said Nigerian leaders should embark on wide consultation that would involve former presidents, governors, traditional and opinion leaders among others in addressing the situation.

On the long term solution to the crisis, the historian said a return to regionalism would equally help savalge the situation and urged government on the need to ensure that henceforth the welfare of its citizens is taken serious.
