Vice President Yemi Osinbajo says he believes that in spite of the religious, ethnic and political differences in the country, Nigeria is better off together.
Osinbajo stated this on Sunday at the Interdenominational Church Service for the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration which was held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.
According to Osinbajo, Nigerians must at every opportunity insist on harnessing the benefits of being a multi-ethnic and multi-religious nation.
He urged Nigerians to honour the sacrifices of the men and women of the Armed Forces and show more commitment to the unity of the nation and the task of building a better society.
He however admitted that the struggle to ensure a more perfect federation is a lifelong enterprise to which each generation must resolutely commit.
