TINUBU PRAYS FOR NIGERIA’S PROSPERITY, SEEKS ALLAH’S GUIDANCE

President Bola Tinubu has prayed for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity, urging God to transform the country’s diversity into a source of national strength and economic progress.

The President offered the prayers on Sunday during a dinner with governors, cabinet ministers and other prominent Nigerians accompanying him on his lesser pilgrimage to Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Addressing members of the delegation, Tinubu said: “May God bless Nigeria and convert our diversity to prosperity as a country.”

The dinner, the third in a series of nightly gatherings since the delegation arrived in the holy city, provided an opportunity for collective prayers and reflections on the country’s future.

Chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, said the delegation had consistently used the gatherings to pray for Nigeria’s peace, unity and prosperity.

Rabiu described the pilgrimage as an opportunity to seek divine intervention for the country, while reaffirming his support for the President’s vision.

He said Tinubu remained passionate about Nigeria and was working hard for its progress, assuring that the delegation would continue to support his efforts.

Also speaking, Kwara State Governor and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, conveyed the governors’ prayers for the President, asking Allah to strengthen his wisdom, courage and capacity to make the right decisions for the country.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi, also offered prayers for Tinubu, asking Allah to grant him his personal desires and continue to answer his prayers.

The President had arrived in Makkah on Thursday night, October 30, and completed his Umrah at the Grand Mosque, Masjid al-Haram, in the early hours of Friday.

Speaking after the pilgrimage, Tinubu described the spiritual exercise as deeply meaningful, recalling that he had also visited Makkah ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He expressed his belief in divine will, saying that Allah alone determines the destiny and eventual accomplishments of every human being.
