Popular skit maker and actor, Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has recounted how a gunshot injury forced him off work for months, leaving him battling fear and uncertainty.
The comedian shared his experience in a YouTube video posted on Wednesday night.
Broda Shaggi was reportedly hit by a stray bullet in March 2026 while filming a comedy skit under a bridge in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
Recounting the incident, the entertainer said he was carrying out a routine brand activation job when the bullet struck him.
He said he lost consciousness and bled profusely while awaiting medical attention.
Broda Shaggi recalled praying as he was rushed to the first hospital, where he received first aid.
“I was totally unconscious till I got to the hospital. So I didn’t even know how we got there,” he said.
The Ogun State Police Command had earlier urged the public to avoid spreading unverified reports, noting that investigations were ongoing.
