Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has been nominated for the Governor of the Year Award at the 2026 Silverbird Man of the Year Awards.
The nomination was conveyed in a letter dated October 26, 2026, addressed to the Governor by the Founder of Silverbird Group, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce.
In the letter, the organisation congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on the nomination, describing it as recognition of his leadership and contributions to the development of Ondo State.
The organisers cited his administration’s focus on infrastructure, education, healthcare and economic development as reasons for the recognition.
The award ceremony is scheduled for Monday, November 16, 2026, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, beginning at 5 p.m.
