Players of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure have successfully undergone medical screening as preparations intensify ahead of the 2026/2027 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The exercise, conducted in line with the mandatory requirements of the league organisers, forms a crucial part of the club’s pre-season preparations to ensure that players are medically fit for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.
With the new NNL season scheduled to kick off in November 2026, the Owena Whales are stepping up preparations for the competition.
