Canadian rapper Drake has made history as the first artiste to surpass 350 million units in Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifications, further cementing his status as one of the world’s most commercially successful musicians.
The historic milestone follows 30 new certifications awarded to the rapper for his albums and singles, spanning different stages of his music career.
Among the newly certified projects is his 2016 album, Views, which has attained Diamond status, representing the equivalent of 10 million units in sales and streaming.
His hit songs, In My Feelings and Marvin’s Room, have also achieved Diamond certification, while God’s Plan has received Double Diamond status.
The latest recognitions have increased Drake’s tally to 18 Diamond-certified singles, covering both lead and featured appearances.
The achievement highlights the sustained commercial success of his extensive music catalogue and his enduring influence in the global music industry.
