DAVIDO SPEAKS ON POSSIBLE JOINT TOUR WITH WIZKID, DEMANDS $500,000 PER SHOW
Afrobeats star, Davido, has said he would demand 500,000 dollars per show for a joint world tour with fellow singer Wizkid.
Davido made this known during an appearance on the IONWANNATALK show, where he discussed the possibility of making music and touring with Wizkid.
He expressed confidence that a joint tour would attract large audiences, insisting that every venue would sell out.
However, Davido was uncertain whether a song recorded with Wizkid would become a hit, citing the collaboration between D’banj and 2Baba as an example.
The singer also revealed that he and Wizkid had not recorded a song together in about ten years, stressing that their inability to collaborate was not due to a lack of opportunity.
He explained that they had not been in the same mental space, while noting that opinions differ on whether their rivalry has helped their careers or a collaboration would make them bigger.
Davido also spoke about moving past disagreements, saying maturity involves recognising when one’s feelings have changed.
He added that he no longer feels the same way he once did.
