2BABA ANNOUNCES FIRST ALBUM IN SIX YEARS
Nigerian music veteran, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced plans to release his first studio album in six years.
The forthcoming album, titled Oldest Young Man, is scheduled for release on November 27, 2026.
The singer announced the project on social media, describing it as a continuation of his musical journey.
He wrote, “The legacy continues. OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26. Timeless music, no expiration date.”
The album will be his first full-length project since Warriors, released in February 2020.
The 13-track album featured collaborations with artistes including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Olamide and Peruzzi.
2Baba had earlier teased the new project in August, describing it as a reflection of his experiences and continued relevance in the music industry.
He also gave fans an early preview of the album during a listening party in Lagos on September 19, as part of activities marking his 51st birthday.
Despite the six-year gap between albums, the singer has remained active through singles and collaborations, including Kuku Google Am and Mental, featuring Fave.
The forthcoming project is expected to mark another milestone in 2Baba’s music career, which spans more than two decades.
