Home Box Office (HBO), an American premium television network, has announced additional cast members for its upcoming television adaptation of the popular Harry Potter fantasy series, revealing the actors who will portray Harry Potter’s parents.
Jasper Talbot and Hannah Chinn have been cast as James Potter and Lily Potter, whose story plays an important role in the events surrounding the young wizard.
Actor Harry Gilby has also joined the production as Charlie Weasley, a member of the Weasley family known for his work with dragons.
The television adaptation is based on the bestselling books by British author J.K. Rowling and is expected to introduce the magical world to a new generation of viewers.
The new series is being developed as a television adaptation rather than a continuation of the original film franchise, allowing the producers to explore the books’ stories across multiple episodes.
The announcement adds to the growing cast of the production, which has attracted international attention from fans eager to see how the familiar characters will be portrayed on television.
The series is part of HBO’s wider investment in major television productions, with the company hoping to build a long-running adaptation around one of the world’s best-known fantasy franchises.
