REMI TINUBU: NIGERIA ENTERING ERA OF PROSPERITY AFTER ECONOMIC REFORMS
Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, says the country is moving beyond economic reforms into an era of prosperity, expressing optimism about the impact of President Bola Tinubu’s policies.
She made the declaration in Enugu State during the South-East Women Mega Empowerment Rally organised by the All Progressives Congress Women Mobilisation Directorate in support of the President’s 2027 re-election bid.
Speaking in Pidgin English, the First Lady said President Tinubu had asked her to assure Nigerians that the country was on the path to prosperity.
She likened the transition to the final stages of pregnancy, when a woman anticipates the birth of her child.
Senator Tinubu also announced plans to empower 250 women across the South-East with 200,000 naira each to establish businesses.
She said another empowerment programme for 250 elderly women would be held on December 17.
The initiatives, she explained, were part of efforts to support women and improve their economic well-being across the region’s five states.
The First Lady urged residents of the South-East to support President Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
