After more than two months of drama, evictions, alliances, twists and disciplinary actions, Big Brother Naija Season 11 will reach its climax today, with nine housemates remaining in the race for the N160 million grand prize.

The “Show Ya Sef” edition began on July 26 with 24 housemates, but the journey to the finale was marked by unexpected twists and dramatic exits.

The nine finalists are Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

One of the season’s earliest twists was the introduction of the Gambit format, which saw Aikou and Flora selected through public voting to remain in the competition until the finale, although they were initially ineligible for the grand prize.

Their fortunes changed several weeks later when Big Brother ended their Gambit status, making both housemates eligible to compete for the N160 million prize.

The season also witnessed impressive Head of House performances, with Chimsom Chuka, Abi and Barry among the standout performers.

Chimsom became the first Head of House and later secured the title for a second time in Week Five, while Abi won the Week Four and Week Six challenges to become a two-time HoH.

Barry also claimed the Week Eight HoH title before winning the final Head of House challenge.

However, success in the HoH arena did not guarantee a place in the finale. Abi was evicted alongside Araga in Week Seven, while Chimsom exited during the Week Eight triple eviction alongside Yusuf and Bells.

Another major turning point came with Nomy, whose repeated clashes with Big Brother’s instructions eventually led to her disqualification.

After receiving what Big Brother described as her “last and final warning,” Nomy breached the rules again during her Benchwarmer duties. Her participation privilege was subsequently revoked on September 7, ending her BBNaija journey.

As the competition entered its final stretch, Barry delivered another major twist by using his Ultimate Veto Power to select “Immunity For All.”

The decision sent all 10 remaining housemates directly into the finale, effectively cancelling the scheduled Week Nine eviction.

Keivo later won the Week Nine Head of House title, but his journey ended abruptly in the final week following a physical confrontation with Tram over a black shirt.

After reviewing footage of the incident, Big Brother identified Keivo as the perpetrator and disqualified him on September 29.

His disqualification reduced the final lineup to nine housemates — Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram.

With the finale now here, attention shifts to the viewers, whose votes will determine who emerges as the winner of the N160 million prize.

Who will viewers crown as BBNaija Season 11 champion?
