Popular Nigerian content creator, Ajiri Tobi Festus, popularly known as Folagade Banks, has premiered his first movie, Mama Deola Wedding Story, ahead of its exclusive streaming on Kava TV.
The premiere attracted attention for its entertainment, fashion and social media buzz, with the skit maker describing the event as a landmark moment in the journey of the movie.
Folagade Banks, who shared highlights of the event on social media, said the premiere was designed to go beyond the conventional movie launch and offer an experience capable of generating the same excitement as a film.
He described the event as a major milestone and expressed optimism about producing bigger and more memorable projects.
The content creator also called for a transformation in the way movie premieres are organised in Nigeria, saying such events could become memorable entertainment experiences in their own right.
The premiere also featured a fashion theme curated by Nigerian designer, Veekee James.
Folagade Banks described the fashion concept as surreal and acknowledged the designer’s contribution to the uniqueness of the event.
