The Ondo State Government has pledged its support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027, expressing confidence that a second term would enable him to consolidate ongoing reforms.
Orange FM’s Ebunoluwa Akinroyeje reports that the Deputy Governor, Dr Olayide Adelami, gave the assurance while receiving members of the President Bola Tinubu 2027 Re-election Support Group in Akure, the state capital.
Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Adelami commended the group for its commitment to Tinubu’s second-term ambition and assured it of the state government’s readiness to mobilise support for the President ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He said the government would put necessary measures in place to ensure that Tinubu secures another term in office.
Earlier, the Director-General of the group, Fola Tinubu, thanked the governor for the warm reception, noting that the group was developing strategies to secure victory for the President in the forthcoming elections.
The Ondo State Coordinator of the group, Femi Fagbolagun, also urged residents to vote massively for Tinubu in 2027.
The meeting was attended by top government functionaries, political leaders and other stakeholders.
