TOLUWANISINGS’ FAMILY, WIFE SIGN PEACE PACT OVER BURIAL DISPUTE

The family of late Nigerian gospel singer, Olayemi Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has reached a peace agreement with his wife and associates following disagreements over his burial arrangements.

The agreement was signed at the Oyo State Police Command headquarters in Ibadan after the intervention of the Commissioner of Police, Abimbola Olugbenga.

Signatories to the agreement included the singer’s wife, Olayemi Elizabeth Damilola, his father, Muniru Olayemi, as well as some of his friends and associates.

The dispute reportedly centred on the singer’s burial location, with his father earlier proposing that he be buried either at his residence or beside his late mother in Osun State.

However, following police intervention, the parties agreed to maintain peace and refrain from actions capable of escalating the disagreement.

They also resolved to stop granting interviews, issuing public statements or sharing allegations relating to the dispute on social media and other media platforms.

The police warned that anyone who violates the agreement or engages in activities capable of breaching public peace would be arrested and prosecuted.
