The First Lady of Ondo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Oluwaseun Esther Aiyedatiwa, led a powerful delegation of women from the Sunshine State to the Women Stakeholders’ Mobilisation and Empowerment Campaign Rollout, convened by the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON.
The epoch-making event held on Monday, October 5, 2026, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre (BATICC), Abuja.
The summit brought together women leaders and stakeholders from across Nigeria for strategic engagement, mobilisation and empowerment towards greater participation of women in national development.
In a proud moment for Ondo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa spoke on behalf of APC Women Stakeholders from the South-West, where she led other women leaders to declare total support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Members of the Ondo delegation included the Wife of the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Abosede Adelami; APC State Women Leader, Chief Mrs. Iji Ayeola (Erelu Okin); Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwaseun Abosede Osamaye; Ondo TTB Coordinator, Mrs. Modupe Martins; Wives of Local Government Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, Female Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Female Political Appointees, Iyalojas, Iyalajes and other eminent women leaders.
The empowerment programme followed immediately after the rollout.
