Winner of the 2026 edition of Big Brother Naija, Temi Nkem, has disclosed plans to invest half of her prize money, support her parents and donate to charity.
Temi revealed this during an interview with the reality show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, following her victory in the competition.
The finance student said her knowledge of money management influenced her decision to invest a significant portion of her winnings rather than spend it all.
“What I want to do firstly is to invest. I am young and obviously studying finance, so I know how money works,” she said.
Temi explained that she had already worked out how to allocate the money, adding that she converted the figures into pounds to gain a clearer perspective on her spending plans.
She said half of the prize money would go into investments, while some would be used to support her parents and contribute to a charity organisation. She also plans to reserve a small percentage for personal expenses.
Reflecting on her experience in the Big Brother house, Temi attributed some of her housemates’ reactions to her curious nature and tendency to ask questions.
She said she did not expect to be pampered when she entered the house but gradually became more inquisitive as the competition progressed.
“People were probably looking at me like I was a curious cat in the house,” she added.
