Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has congratulated his Ekiti State counterpart, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, on his inauguration for a second term in office.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, in a congratulatory message, described Oyebanji’s re-election as a testament to the confidence reposed in his leadership by the people of Ekiti State.
He commended the Ekiti governor for his purposeful and inclusive leadership over the past four years, noting that his administration had demonstrated capacity, humility and commitment to the development of the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also expressed confidence that Oyebanji’s second term would strengthen the historical, cultural and developmental ties between Ondo and Ekiti states.
He said the renewed mandate would provide opportunities for greater collaboration between the two states under the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) and the South-West Governors’ Forum.
The Ondo governor further expressed optimism that Ekiti State would witness accelerated development, peace and prosperity under Oyebanji’s renewed leadership.
He prayed for divine wisdom, good health and renewed strength for the governor as he continues to deliver on his promises to the people of Ekiti State.
