The family of late Pa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, former leader of Afenifere and foremost nationalist, has announced his burial arrangements.
In a statement by his son, who is Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, a Christian wake will hold on Wednesday, December 16, 2026 at his residence within the Omolere Nursery and Primary School Compound.
Funeral service holds on Thursday, December 17, at St. David’s Cathedral, Ijomu, Akure, by 10 a.m., and interment will follow immediately at the church cemetery, following which a reception takes place at the deceased’s residence.
An outing and thanksgiving service will also hold on Sunday, December 20, at St. David’s Cathedral, Ijomu, Akure.
