Construction work on the Adegbola-st mathias flyover project in akure has reached Ijomu Junction as works continues along the project corridor.
The installation of iron reinforcements and other construction activities have progressed from cathedral to old garage and are gradually advancing towards the post office area, while excavation and other works continue around Ijomu Junction.
Motorists are urging the government to keep alternative routes safe and motorable as traffic is diverted around Ijomu Junction and other areas for the construction work.
The flyover project is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve movement and boost economic activities within the state capital.
