The London premiere of Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele’s upcoming movie, The Four, has sold out ahead of its scheduled screening at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on November 29.

The film’s distributor, FilmOne Entertainment, announced the development in a post on X on Thursday, expressing appreciation to audiences for their support and confirming that all tickets for the premiere had been sold.

The distributor described the response as encouraging, announcing that the London premiere was officially sold out.

Akindele had earlier unveiled plans for the United Kingdom premiere through her verified Instagram account, describing the event as a significant milestone for Nigerian cinema.

She announced that the premiere would be held at the iconic Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London on November 29, in partnership with FilmOne Entertainment and Funke Akindele Network.

The sold-out event comes ahead of the movie’s nationwide cinema release in Nigeria scheduled for December 11, with FilmOne Entertainment handling its distribution.

Akindele, who is regarded as one of Nollywood’s leading filmmakers, has continued to strengthen the international presence of Nigerian cinema through her film productions and promotional initiatives.
