At least nine people, including five children and two women, have been killed in an airstrike on a house in Yemen’s northern Saada province, according to the Houthi-run Health Ministry.
The attack, which reportedly occurred in the Sahar district, also left 19 people injured, including 11 children.
Houthi officials blamed Saudi Arabia for the strike, although Riyadh had not immediately commented on the allegation.
The incident comes amid renewed hostilities involving Houthi rebels and forces backed by Saudi Arabia, raising fears of further escalation in the conflict.
In a related development, two pilots were reportedly killed when a military helicopter crashed near Saudi Arabia’s border with Yemen.
Egypt has also pledged support for Saudi Arabia in defending its security against Houthi attacks.
The latest violence has heightened concerns over Yemen’s humanitarian crisis, with years of conflict displacing millions and leaving many dependent on humanitarian assistance.
